I took the opportunity of catching some video of South Western Railway Class 484 Electric Multiple Units which work between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin. No.\u2019s 484002 &amp; 484005 were in action during my visit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In keeping with Island Line\u2019s traditions, the Class 484 trains were former London Underground stock, extensively refurbished by Vivarail in Long Marston &#8211; 02\/12\/2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Clan Line at Yeovil Junction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Clan Line at Yeovil Junction - 03\/12\/2025\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MNQwtxRp1qw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An afternoon visit to Yeovil Junction to see rebuilt SR Merchant Navy Class No. 35028 \u2018Clan Line\u2019 arrive with the ECS from \u201cThe Sherborne Christmas Carol\u201d rail tour organised by The Railway Touring Company. The locomotive was turned and serviced by the Yeovil Railway Centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018Clan Line\u2019 was built at Eastleigh Works and entered service on 23rd December 1948 at Bournemouth depot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reporting detail for today\u2019s tour was 1Z93 0844 London Victoria to Yeovil Jn Heritage Platform.
