These locomotives arrived on May 7th and we saw them on the Swanage Branch at Creech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Swanage Assemble! 2025 diesel gala participants keep on arriving with the arrival of 73128 &amp; 69007.\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/laR2qRB8oVU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having missed its original diagrammed move to Dorset on May 6th because of urgent repairs to a fuel leak, RES Class 47 No. 47715 \u2018Rail Engineering Solutions &#8211; Quality Assured\u2019 was collected from the Chinnor &amp; Princess Risborough Railway on the following day by H+H Class 50 No. 50008 \u2018Thunderer\u2019 and towed to the Swanage Railway as 0W50 1905 Princes R&#8217;boro Ace to Swanage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Swanage Assemble! 50008 passing Poole fetching 47715 for the 2025 diesel gala\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MbPwoLZpJdQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final piece of the jigsaw saw Colas Railfreight Class 56 No. 56090 working 0Z56 1200 Eastleigh East Yard to Swanage on 8th May which completed the line-up for the 2025 Diesel Gala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Colas Railfreight Class 56 No. 56090 heads to Swanage - 08\/05\/2025\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xD6q9U1ce7E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also on Thursday 8th May, a  Swanage Diesel Gala Preview Day took place featuring a &#8220;Network SouthEast&#8221; theme, with Class 47 No. 47715 \u2018Rail Engineering Solutions &#8211; Quality Assured\u2019 , Class 73 No. 73128 \u2018Kent &amp; East Sussex Railway\u2019, and Class 423 4VEP No. 3417 &#8216;Gordon Pettit&#8217; in action alongside resident steam locomotive SR 4-6-2 \u201cBattle Of Britain\u201d Class No. 34072 \u2018257 Squadron\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Classic Traction in Action!
